Haiji and Kusumi (ハイジと楠見, Haiji to Kusumi) is the nineteenth chapter of the Under Doctor manga series, written and illustrated by Kyo Tanimoto. It was released on June 7, 2026.
Plot
Chapter 19 starts off with Haiji fighting the lab's security guards, and defeating them. At the same time, Kusumi has taken control of a security guard named Miles. Haiji and Kusumi get ready to begin phase 2 of their plan, Kusumi asks Haiji to keep the guards busy while Kusumi will sneak inside and investigate. Haiji asks if they are going to save the children that they've kidnapped, and Kusumi questions if they are still alive. Haiji says if there any that have survived, like Wynn, then he'll be the decoy, but in return, let him search the place for any children. Kusumi says do whatever you like. Haiji, while fighting with the guards, searches for the place where the children are. While investigating, Kusumi hears a gunshot and runs to the place he heard it from, and sees a old man getting ready to die. The old man says he is destroying evidence and cleaning up, and he commits suicide. Haiji finds the children, and picks the kids up, and while getting out, Kusumi finds him and says they need to get out of there. Kusumi explains that they are going to blow the whole place up, Haiji asks Kusumi how he found him, to which Kusumi says he spotted him stumbling around on the GPS. Kusumi, Haiji, and the children all espace, and watch the place getting blown up. Chapter 19 ends with Kusumi joining Haiji & Chiwa's "group".
