You Can Do It, Hana! (ガンバレ!花ちゃん!, Ganbare! Hana-chan!) is the seventeenth chapter of the Under Doctor manga series, written and illustrated by Kyo Tanimoto. It was released on May 24, 2026.
Plot
Chapter 17 starts off with Hana singing "Les Champs-Elysées" to people, and people are clapping due to Hana's impressive singing. Some fans come up to Hana and ask her for an encore, but Hana says she has to go to a part time job interview. Hana finishes the interview and goes home. Hana says that she got the job, and it is at a convience store. Hana is raised by a single mom, but even with them not living affluent, they are still happy together. Hana says she wants to pay her mom back one day for all she has done for Hana. A month passes by, and Haiji visits Hana. Haiji says that he listens to Hana's music alot while jogging and tells Hana to visit the hospital at once. Hana refuses and Haiji asks if she already went before. Hana is then revealed to have a tumor, and that it is advanced. The doctor tells Hana that it will affect her singing, and he suggests a full extraction. Hana tells the doctor that she doesn't want to cause any more problems for her mom, and won't do the procedure that can protect her voice but it costs alot of money. Hana says she won't do the extraction, and she would rather die than not being able to sing. Hana goes home and reveals to her mom everything. Hana's mom goes to the doctor and begs the doctor to not take away singing from Hana. The doctor says that money isn't the issue, but the lack of fast action is. Haiji randomly shows up to Hana's hospital from the window and that he is taking over as Hana's surgeon. Haiji says that it will allow Hana to keep her voice, but however Haiji says that he won't do it for free. Chapter 17 ends with Hana singing outside, and Haiji & Chiwa watching over her, several months after Haiji takes over as Hana's surgeon.
