Way of Life is the fourteenth chapter of the Under Doctor manga series, written and illustrated by Kyo Tanimoto. It was released on April 26, 2026.
Plot
Chapter 14 starts off with Haiji examining the scene where he defeated Maxwell, however Maxwell wakes up and says that this battle won't end unless one of us is dead. As Maxwell is talking, his body stops listenting and he starts falling off the building. Haiji stops Maxwell from falling off by swapping places with him and Haiji is falling off instead, as Haiji is falling down, Maxwell comes and rescues him. While doing so, Maxwell takes the fall for Haiji instead by making sure he protected him. When Haiji asked Maxwell why did he rescue him, Maxwell said that he wasn't intending to save Haiji, but dying instead. The chapter ends with Maxwell remembering more from his past, and tearing up about the thought of his childhood.
